Daria Giovannacci (Hedberg)

Daria Giovannacci (Hedberg) has over 10 years of work experience in a variety of roles. In 2011, they began their career as a Marketing Specialist at Petroscane Shipping Oy. Daria then moved on to become an Art Agent at Danica in 2014. In 2018, they were employed by Aalto University as a Commercialisation Expert, where they were responsible for evaluating a technology potential of a photonics technology and preparing a commercialisation plan. Daria also held the roles of Head of Partnerships and Vice President at Women of Aalto, Program Manager at Women in Tech Finland/Teknologiateollisuus, and Commercial Lead at A-Photonics. In 2020, they became the Head of Business Development & ESG and Business Development & ESG manager at Geyser Batteries, and in 2022 they joined Batteries Europe as a Member of the Steering Board.

Daria Giovannacci (Hedberg) has an educational background in Chemical Engineering from Aalto University and a Bachelor's degree in International Business and Marketing from Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate in Advanced English (Grade A), level C2 from Cambridge University in December 2016.
