Mark Underwood

Mark Underwood is an experienced health and safety professional with a strong background in risk management and system development. Currently serving as the Manager of WHS Strategy, Systems and Risk at GFG Alliance in Australia since March 2018, Mark focuses on enhancing health and safety leadership and vision. Prior roles include Safety Manager for Arrium, where responsibilities encompassed WHS performance reporting, risk management, and incident investigation, and Safety Systems and Development Manager at OneSteel, where Mark contributed to WHS systems development and incident management. Earlier experience includes strategic communications management with the Australian Army, where Mark led joint service communications planning and training initiatives.
