Corey Backues

Corey has over 23 years of experience in the area of Sales Rep Development and Leadership in the office equipment industry. He oversees the GFI Digital sales department, which has over $60 million in total sales annually. Throughout his career he has won Manager of the Year 8 times and is a 22 time President’s Club recipient. Prior to joining GFI Digital, Corey served as Director of Sales at IKON Office Solutions (now Ricoh.) He received his sales and management training at Modern Business Systems in the 1990’s. Corey held numerous leadership roles including Director of Sales, General Manager and Director of Business Development while at IKON. His area of expertise is sales rep development and major accounts. Corey maintains active involvement in several community service organizations. He is a member of the United Way Board of Governors and on the Board of his Rotary Club. He has previously been a board member of the Cole County Special Services, Board of Directors for the Jefferson City Chamber of Commerce, Better Business Bureau of Mid Missouri and Special Learning Center which serves children with special needs as well as St. Peter Church. Corey received his Undergraduate degree from University of Central Missouri State and his Masters of Business Administration from William Woods University. He is married and has two children.
