Alexander Blinov

Alexander Blinov has a long and varied career in product management and development. Alexander began their career in 2009 as Head of Products and Services Development Department at Beeline Russia, where they launched a DDoS protection service in 3 months with a budget of over 2 million USD. In 2016, they became Product Development Head for Russian and European Markets at Smart Cloud Solutions, where they developed and executed business strategies, formed joint technological and product roadmaps, and launched 50+ new product features. Alexander also held the role of Head of Products at Social Discovery Ventures, where they were responsible for 5 dating websites and their functionality extension. From 2018 to 2020, Alexander held the roles of Product Lead at Yandex and Product Marketing Lead at Getmobit. In 2020, they became Head of Product at Osome, where they are in charge of E-commerce product making Osome a default accounting solution for ecommerce customers. Currently, Alexander is the VP of Commercial Product Management at GFI Software.

Alexander Blinov is currently enrolled in the Product Management Executive Program at INSEAD. Alexander previously obtained a PhD in Economics from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) in 2015, as well as two Master's degrees in Physics and Management of Scientific Research and High Technology from MSU in 2011. In 2021, they obtained a certification in Customer Development from custdev.zamesin.me and in 2020 they obtained a certification in Basics of Web Development from Moscow Coding School. In 2019, they obtained a certification in Agile Product Ownership (ICP-BVA) from ICAgile.
