Anneke Meijer

Anneke Meijer has extensive experience in public health management and promotion, currently serving as Programmamanager Friese Preventieaanpak at GGD Fryslân since 1998. Anneke has also held several key roles including Beleidsadviseur Publieke Gezondheid, Kwartiermaker Friese preventieaanpak, and Regiocoordinator Friese JOGG gemeenten, all focused on improving health outcomes for communities, especially among youth. Other notable positions include Programmaleider Gezonde School Fryslan and involvement in various initiatives aimed at health promotion and prevention strategies, such as the "Nuchter over gewicht" campaign. Anneke's earlier career includes roles as a socio-nurse and a health educator, alongside contributions to multiple health projects both regionally and nationally. Educational achievements include studies at AOG School of Management and The Hague University of Applied Sciences.
