Melanie Meyer

Melanie Meyer is an emerging professional in the field of biomedical sciences with relevant experience in research, tutoring, and policy. Currently engaged as an intern at GGD Fryslân since March 2023, Melanie focuses on investigating the impact of parental influence on teenage alcohol use within the "Frysian Prevention Approach." Melanie has served as a student tutor for various educational institutions, specializing in supporting students in primary and secondary education across subjects such as biology and mathematics. Additionally, relevant research experience includes projects on evolutionary cognition and chronobiology at prominent universities, contributing to a solid academic foundation with a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Groningen, completed in July 2023.
