Annette De Boer

Directeur Publieke Gezondheid at GGD Haaglanden

Annette de Boer is an experienced public health professional currently serving as the Directeur Publieke Gezondheid at GGD Haaglanden, a position held since June 2019. In this role, Annette leads various regional health initiatives and collaborates with multiple health and safety organizations. Prior to this, Annette worked as a Senior Managing Consultant at Berenschot from October 2011 to June 2019, providing organizational advice to public health entities and related institutions, leveraging a robust biomedical background. Annette’s extensive career also includes significant positions at the RIVM National Institute for Public Health and the Environment, overseeing policy and management in the Infectious Disease Control Center, as well as earlier roles in epidemiology and project management. Annette holds a PhD in Medicine from the University of Amsterdam and a Master's in Human Nutrition from Wageningen University & Research.
