Sophie Te Boekhorst

Sophie te Boekhorst currently works as a Medisch milieukundig medewerker at GGD Hollands Midden since July 2018, providing guidance and advice on health effects related to environmental incidents and living conditions. Previously, Sophie served as a Coördinator teststraat and Adviseur Gezonde School at GGD Rotterdam-Rijnmond and the Municipality of Rotterdam from September 2009 to June 2018, focusing on implementing health policy in education through process facilitation, workshops, training, and informational sessions. Additionally, from March 2013 to March 2015, Sophie was an Inspecteur Ship Sanitation at GGD Rotterdam-Rijnmond, conducting inspections on international ships in Rotterdam's ports based on World Health Organisation standards. Early experience includes the role of Gezondheidsvoorlichter onderwijs at GGD Zuid Hollandse Eilanden from February 2007 to September 2009, delivering educational presentations and workshops.
