Martijn Beek

Martijn Beek has extensive experience in public service and governance, currently serving as a member of the Daily Board at GGD regio Utrecht since August 2018, focusing on the 'Kansrijke start' portfolio. Since 2011, Martijn Beek has been involved in local politics in Veenendaal, holding positions as a municipal council member and alderman for ProVeenendaal, as well as serving as faction leader and a committee member. Prior to these roles, Martijn Beek worked for Vitras from August 2002 to July 2018 in various capacities, including as a social worker and key user for employee registration support. Martijn Beek holds a degree from Hogeschool Utrecht, completed between 1999 and 2003, and completed secondary education at Rembrandt College Veenendaal from 1992 to 1998.
