Mien Vermue

Mien Vermue is a seasoned Privacy Officer with significant experience in data protection and privacy compliance. Currently serving as a Privacy Officer at GGD Zaanstreek - Waterland since January 2021, Mien also owns FactorV, providing organizations with support in improving and securing business processes and compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Previous roles include Data Protection Officer positions at various organizations, including Stichting Penta, VinCo, and Federatie Opvang, where Mien implemented privacy legislation measures and conducted compliance scans. In addition, past experience at ING involved roles in quality management and project coordination. Mien holds a degree in Andragogie from the University of Groningen and has furthered expertise in the field of privacy through certifications and training.
