Mehdi Ghasemi

Mehdi Ghasemi, Ph.D., P.Eng, currently serves as a Tunnel Engineer at GHD since April 2021. Prior to this role, Mehdi was a Research Associate and Research Assistant at Dalhousie University from September 2015 to April 2021. Mehdi's earlier experience includes serving as an Instructor at Taha Institute of Higher Education from 2014 to September 2015 and as Editor in Chief of the Journal of Mining Engineering (Bolur) at Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic from April 2013 to July 2014. Additional roles include a Teaching Assistant position at both Amirkabir University of Technology and Sahand University of Technology. Mehdi holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Civil Engineering from Dalhousie University, a Master of Science in Rock Mechanics Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from Sahand University of Technology.
