Richard Gregory

Richard Gregory boasts extensive experience in mechanical engineering and product development, currently serving as the Head of Mechanical and R&D Operations at ghd since April 2013. Gregory has successfully led the curlers development team and managed various new product projects, including the ghd Curve product range, launched in 2014. Prior to ghd, Gregory held a Managing Consultant role at Sagentia Ltd, where involvement in over 50 product developments and significant projects, such as a £3m insulin injection pen, demonstrated exceptional expertise. With a robust portfolio of approximately 10 granted patents and experience working globally with clients and manufacturers, Gregory's career includes positions at notable companies, contributing to multiple fields including consumer, industrial, and medical product development. Education includes a HNC and OND in Mechanical and Production Engineering from Hertfordshire University and Norwich City College, respectively.
