Haosheng Huang

Haosheng Huang is a full-time professor at Ghent University since February 2020. Prior to this role, Haosheng served as an Oberassistent and Research Group Leader at the University of Zurich from July 2016 to February 2020, and as a University Assistant at the Vienna University of Technology between October 2007 and June 2016, where responsibilities included teaching, research, and services. Early career experience includes roles as a Post-doctoral researcher and Research Assistant in Location Based Services and Ubiquitous Computing as well as a Visiting PhD student at the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2010. Haosheng's educational background comprises two PhDs, one in Geoinformation and Cartography from Technische Universität Wien and another in Geoinformation and Remote Sensing from Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry, both completed in 2013.
