Jacob Stebel

Jacob Stebel is an experienced educator and program director with a background in film and English literature. Currently serving as Program Director at Ghetto Film School since June 2022, Stebel previously held positions as an English Literature and Film Teacher at the NYC Department of Education, where responsibilities included preparing students for college and real-world experiences through film production. Additionally, Stebel was the Film Department Head at The Cinema School and gained valuable educational techniques at Teachers College, Columbia University while earning a Master of Arts in English/Language Arts Teacher Education. Early career experience includes a managerial role at Cinema Arts Centre, overseeing various operational aspects and staff training. Stebel holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Stony Brook University.
