Tim Schnobel

Tim Schnobel is a highly experienced software engineer specializing in embedded systems for the automotive industry. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at GHSP since October 2015, Tim has a strong background in designing and implementing software, particularly in C, for automotive controllers and appliance controls, with a focus on AUTOSAR, cybersecurity, and CAN protocols. Previous roles include Principal Software Engineer at Visteon Corporation / Johnson Controls, Software Engineer at Gentex Corporation, and Lead Software Engineer at Johnson Controls, among others. Tim's career began in the early 1990s, working for companies such as Robert Bosch Automotive and Delphi Automotive Systems, where contributions included the development of critical software for engine control modules and safety systems. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, obtained from 1982 to 1987.
