Philip Yau

Philip Yau is a Managing Director of GI Partners and head of the firm’s capital formation-business development team. His responsibilities include managing strategic relationships, developing new business initiatives, and overseeing the capital formation efforts. He is responsible for developing the firm’s Data Infrastructure Fund. Prior to joining GI Partners, Mr. Yau spent over 24 years in investment banking. Most recently, he spent 12 years in the UBS Private Funds Group, where he advised numerous private equity firms including GI Partners and where he served in several leadership roles including as co-head of the Group's North America team.
