Beatriz Rodriguez Fernandez ACMA, CGMA is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience managing finance functions across multiple entities. Currently serving as Finance Manager at GIA Surveyors since May 2017, Beatriz oversees financial operations for ten entities, leading a team of six while ensuring the timely delivery of management accounts and oversight of audits and tax filings. Previous roles include Finance Manager at The Brookwood Partnership, where Beatriz managed an accounts team, and Management Accountant at ETS plc, focusing on month-end processes. Beatriz began their career as an Accounts Assistant at Lightspeed Research and completed an internship at Caja Laboral, contributing to customer-facing roles. Educational background includes an MSc in Accounting and Finance from Kingston University and a Licentiate degree in Business Administration from Universidad de Oviedo, complemented by professional qualifications from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

Recent landmark cases we have had major involvement with, include: The Whitechapel Inquiry , Buckle Street, and Cantium Retail Park. We are co-founders of VU.CITY: a highly accurate, fully interactive 3D digital twin of our cities that helps people create, refine, share and understand the journey of development, visually and articulately, to make better design and planning decisions, faster. GIA Surveyors have developed a bespoke plug-in app, that's fully compatible with the VU.CITY smart city platform, that’s changing the way the industry assesses, Daylight, Sunlight and Rights of Light.
