Since 1931, the Gemological Institute of America has been a leading expert on jewelry. Part research institute and part school, GIA is highly respected in the gem industry. These include Pell grants, SEOG, and subsidized and unsubsidized loans for eligible students. The school also offers over 30 institutional scholarships, many of which are based on merit.
