Paul Mattlin

Paul Mattlin is a seasoned professional in the gemology and online education fields, currently serving as Senior Manager of Online Education at GIA since January 2012, after holding various roles including Manager and Supervisor of Distance Education. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Sales at C.J. Charles Jewelers, Gemologist at Brilliant Earth, and a Gemologist/Sales Associate at Derco Fine Jewelers. Prior to the jewelry industry, Paul worked as a Systems Engineering Integration Analyst at SAIC and as a Web Editor at Caldiatech. Educational qualifications include a Cert GA in Gemology from Gem-A and multiple degrees from GIA, including Graduate Jeweler and Graduate Gemologist.
