John Cobb has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several industries. John started their career in 1993 as the Vice President/Group Publisher at Petersen Publishing Company. John then moved on to roles at EMAP, where they served as Vice President/General Manager and President EMAP Digital USA, leading the launch of 22 new Automotive sites.
Cobb then joined PRIMEDIA in 2001 as the Vice President/GM, Digital and later became the Vice President, Sales and Marketing. John then moved to Source Interlink Media, where they held various roles including SVP Group Publisher-International Automotive/Motorcycle Groups and SVP Group Publisher-Consumer Automotive/Motorcycle Groups.
In 2010, Cobb became the Chief Executive Officer of Publishing Group of America, overseeing the publication of American Profile, Relish, and Spry magazines. John then served as the Chief Executive Officer of PGOA Media, a digital media and custom content company.
Cobb went on to become the President and COO of Fexy Media, Inc., where they managed multi-platform digital video properties. John also served on the Board of Directors at BPA Worldwide, a leading media-auditing organization.
In 2016, Cobb became the Chief Executive Officer of Giant Media, a media and technology company. Later, in 2018, they became the CEO and Co-Founder of VuePlanner, a leading technology for contextual, transparent, and data-driven YouTube advertising.
