Daniel S. Lima is a highly experienced technical animator and artist with a career spanning over two decades in the animation and gaming industries. Currently serving as Principal Technical Animator at Giant Skull since March 2024, Daniel previously held positions as Principal Technical Artist at Riot Games, where contributions included the development of a hybrid joint-based system for comprehensive face and body rigging. At Undead Labs, Daniel worked as Principal Character Tech Artist on State of Decay 3, focusing on prototype development and company presentations. Daniel's earlier experience includes key roles as Senior Character TD at Blue Sky Studios, where leadership on projects like Ice Age 5 and the development of the ChopRig System occurred, as well as character animation contributions at Image Engine and Vetor Zero. Daniel's educational background includes studies at Universidade de Fortaleza and HGN School.
