Margaret Morici Schmidt

VP, Experiential Production & Operations at Giant Spoon

Margaret Morici Schmidt has a long and varied work experience. Starting in 2004, they were a runway model for Elite Model Management. In 2005, they interned at Neiman Marcus in the Public Relations department. From 2007-2011, they worked for Five Acres--The Boy's and Girl's Aid Society of Los Angeles, first as an Event Manager and then as Associate Director of Events and Public Relations. In 2007, they also interned at Gen Art. From 2011-2016, they worked at Pen&Public as Client Services Director. In 2018, they began working at Giant Spoon as VP, Experiential Production & Operations, then as Director, Experiential Production, and then as a freelance Executive Producer. As a freelance Executive Producer, they served on experiential marketing events and activations such as the Ready Player One Experience at SXSW 2018 and the DC Universe Experience at SDCC 2018. Her responsibilities included building and managing the production team, budget management, vetting partners and managing vendors, onsite execution and production planning.

Margaret Morici Schmidt completed their Bachelor's degree in Fashion Retail Management from Columbia College Chicago in 2007. Margaret then took classes for further learning in Marketing at UCLA Extension from 2014 to 2015.
