Thierry Francou

Thierry Francou possesses extensive experience in leadership roles across various high-profile organizations within the aerospace and defense sectors. Currently serving as Administrateur at Areva since June 2021, Thierry also holds significant positions as Group Chairman and CEO at EURENCO, Group CEO at SNPE, and Group CEO at Giat Industries, all since February 2019. Prior to these roles, Thierry was General Manager for Strategy & Transformation at ArianeGroup and CEO of ArianeGroup France from January 2015 to February 2019. Thierry's career includes key positions at Safran, where responsibilities included Vice President of the Space Business Unit, as well as governmental roles within France's defense and ecology sectors. Education includes an engineering degree in Pyrotechnie from ENSTA Bretagne, a Doctorat from Université de Poitiers, and executive training from IMD and ESCP Business School.
