Marci Monson is an experienced marketing professional with a background in public relations and communications within the publishing industry. Currently serving as Trade Marketing Manager at Gibbs Smith Education since February 2023, Marci is involved in launching a new imprint and establishing distribution relationships. As a Board Member of PubWest, Marci co-chairs the annual PubWest BootCamp, supporting early-career publishing professionals. Previously, Marci held senior roles at Gibbs Smith, managing publicity for numerous titles and coordinating marketing initiatives for a diverse range of authors. Marci's career includes key marketing positions at Adobe, Cedar Fort Publishing & Media, and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, complemented by a Graduate Certificate from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Science degree from Utah State University.
