Cynthia Schoeman

Cynthia Schoeman is a notable figure in the field of ethics and governance, currently serving as a member of the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council since August 2024. With extensive experience as the Managing Director at Ethics Monitoring & Management Services (Pty) Ltd since November 2010, Cynthia focuses on fostering ethical cultures within organizations. Additionally, Cynthia holds the position of Non Executive Director and current Chair at the Ethics Practitioners' Association (EPA), and serves as an external lecturer on ethics and governance at USB Executive Development Ltd, GIBS Business School, and Wits Business School. Previous roles include HR Director at TWP Projects and independent management consultant. Cynthia's educational background includes an MPhil in Applied Ethics from Stellenbosch University, an MBA from Wits Business School, and a BA in English and History from Unisa.
