Zakiyyah Salim-Williams

Zakiyyah Salim-Williams serves as a Partner and Chief Diversity Officer at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP since January 2012, focusing on implementing global diversity initiatives and hosting extensive diversity and inclusion programs. Previously, Zakiyyah was the Diversity Director at the New York City Bar Association from July 2008 to December 2011, overseeing diversity efforts and conducting benchmarking studies on the legal community. Early career experience includes roles as an Associate at Heller Ehrman and various legal internships, including positions at prestigious courts and organizations. Zakiyyah holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Columbia Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Howard University.
