Justin Skerlak

Justin Skerlak, P.Eng, currently serves as a Control Systems Specialist at Gibson Energy since March 2023. Prior to this role, Justin held positions as a Control Systems Engineer/Specialist at DCD Engineering Ltd from October 2017 to February 2023, where responsibilities included managing automation deliverables and commissioning Station PLC programs for both Greenfield and Brownfield Gas Compressor Station sites. Earlier experience includes working as a Field Engineer at FourQuest Energy, managing pre-commissioning tasks and project scopes for major energy projects. Justin began the career as a server and bartender at Moxie's Classic Grill, demonstrating strong customer service and team management skills while balancing full-time university studies. Justin holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with a focus on Computer Process Control from the University of Alberta.
