Ben Wong

Vice President at GIC

Ben Wong has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Ben started their career as a Lab Assistant Intern at Nokia in 2005. In 2010, they worked as a Student Developer at Intellectual Property Exchange where they collected trademark data and implemented search and visualization features. Ben then joined Merrill Lynch in 2011 as a Technology Analyst Intern, and later in 2012, they became an AVP, Electronic Trading Technology. Ben worked there until 2016 when they moved to GIC. At GIC, they initially served as an Assistant Vice President and later became a Vice President in June 2019.

Ben Wong completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Nanyang Technological University Singapore in 2011. Prior to that, they earned a Diploma with Merit in Multimedia Technology from Singapore Polytechnic from 2003 to 2006.
