Darren Yang

Darren Yang is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in finance and tax-related matters across various sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Tax at GIC since December 2017, Darren partners with the investment team on tax structuring for real estate, private equity, and infrastructure investments in the Asia Pacific. Prior to this role, Darren co-founded PriviKids, a unique retail initiative in Singapore, and held the position of Regional Tax Senior Manager at M&G Real Estate, where responsibilities included overseeing the tax function for numerous investment funds. Darren's career began with a decade at PwC Singapore as a Senior Tax Manager, where expertise in corporate tax matters was developed. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
