Ben Wong

Vice President at GIC

Ben Wong started their work experience as a Lab Assistant Intern at Nokia in 2005. Ben then worked as a Student Developer at Intellectual Property Exchange from 2010 to 2011, where they collected trademark data and implemented search and visualization features. In 2011, Wong interned as a Technology Analyst at Merrill Lynch. Ben continued their career at Merrill Lynch as an AVP, Electronic Trading Technology from 2012 to 2016. Wong then moved to GIC in 2016 where they served as an Assistant Vice President until 2019, and currently holds the position of Vice President.

Ben Wong completed a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Nanyang Technological University Singapore from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma with Merit in Multimedia Technology from Singapore Polytechnic from 2003 to 2006.
