Darren Yang

Darren Yang is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in tax and finance-related matters across various sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Tax at GIC since December 2017, Darren partners with the investment team on tax structuring for real estate, private equity, and infrastructure investments throughout the Asia Pacific region. Prior to this, Darren co-founded PriviKids, a unique store in Singapore focused on stylish children's apparel and charity, and held the position of Regional Tax Senior Manager at M&G Real Estate, overseeing the tax functions for the group's fund management businesses. With a foundational role as Senior Tax Manager at PwC Singapore, Darren provided corporate tax advice and managed complex tax compliance activities. Darren holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
