Joel Multer

Joel Multer is the Vice President of Tax at Atmos Energy. Joel has over 20 years of experience in the tax industry.

Joel started their career at Ernst & Young in 1998 as a Senior Tax Associate. Joel then moved to Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP in 2004 as a Manager - Tax. In 2006, they joined WEC Energy Group as their Manager - Tax Strategy.

In 2017, Joel left WEC Energy Group to join Walgreens Boots Alliance as their Director - Tax Acquisitions & Research. Joel stayed with Walgreens until 2018 when they joined American Electric Power as their Managing Director - Tax Accounting & Regulatory.

Joel has been with Atmos Energy since August 2021.

Joel Multer has a MST in Tax from Lubar College of Business and a BBA in Accounting from Lubar College of Business.

Joel Multer reports to Christopher T. Forsythe, SVP & Chief Financial Officer. They are on a team with Richard Thomas - VP & Controller, Daniel M. Meziere - VP, Investor Relations & Treasurer.
