Desmond Ong

Desmond Ong is a Senior Platform Engineer at GIC since June 2023, previously serving as a Custom Software Engineering Associate Manager and Tech Arch Delivery Specialist at Accenture from August 2019 to June 2023. With a background in software development and engineering, Desmond's experience includes developing a lead management system at RAPP and full-stack development at Commute Solutions Group, where management of Azure cloud applications was a key responsibility. Desmond began a career in technology as an intern at Gemalto, focusing on authentication improvements, and participated in a winning design project at Nanyang Technological University aimed at enhancing e-learning through signal processing.
