Glien Tan

Glien Tan has a diverse work experience spanning over 17 years. Glien started their career at Credit Suisse as an Associate and Senior Operations Analyst before moving to GIC, where they held various leadership positions. As the Managing Director and Head of Investment Services Management (Equities), Glien led a team of 20, overseeing business strategy planning, governance, budgeting, and global investment service capabilities. Glien also served as the Lead for the Digital Office, driving innovation and digital transformation across public markets. Glien successfully managed a team of 6 as the Lead for Business Solutions Analytics, delivering business analytics capabilities and enabling better decision-making. Additionally, they held roles as the Business Manager for the Public Equities & Portfolio Execution Group (PEG) and the Treasury and Portfolio Management Group (TPMG), where they managed global trading, balance sheet management, and comprehensive portfolio management services. Glien also worked as the Business Manager for the President of Global Asset Management Office, where they oversaw investment services and played a key role in setting up cross-asset investment capabilities. Throughout their career, Glien has demonstrated their expertise in business strategy, governance, KPI management, and digital innovation.

Glien Tan completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with Honors in Business Administration and Management from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, Glien Tan obtained a degree in Commerce / Science with Distinction, specializing in Finance and Genetics, from UNSW between 2000 and 2003.
