Justin Stein

Justin Stein is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at GIC since July 2020, specializing in in-house counsel for the Private Equity and Infrastructure groups in the Americas. Justin's role encompasses a broad range of investment strategies including direct investments, private funds, and technology/venture capital. Prior to GIC, Justin held the position of Counsel at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP from October 2015 to June 2020, focusing on mergers and acquisitions as well as capital markets. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Law (JD) from The University of Texas School of Law (2015) and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Plan II Honors and Government from The University of Texas at Austin (2011).
