Tan Wei Lu

TAN Wei Lu, CFA, has extensive experience in business strategy and management within the financial sector, currently serving as the Head of Business Strategy and Management for Public Equities at GIC since May 2004. In this role, TAN leads a team of approximately 20 professionals, providing comprehensive investment support to global equities portfolio managers and facilitating collaboration with various stakeholders on business operations and strategy execution. TAN's responsibilities encompass order management and compliance, bespoke transactions, portfolio management, research services, and client reporting. Previously, TAN held several managerial positions within GIC, including roles in the President's Office and Equities Department, as well as experience in corporate affairs. Prior to GIC, TAN worked at DBS Bank in investment banking and finance. TAN holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
