Mark W. Conopka

Mark Conopka is Senior Vice President of Portfolio Management . He is responsible for portfolio management for GID’s co-investment joint venture with CalPERS as well as asset management of various individual properties. Prior to transferring to Portfolio and Asset Management, Mr. Conopka was an Assistant Vice President in GID’s Acquisition group where he was responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and negotiating multi-family acquisitions and joint venture arrangements with third-party developers totaling over $1 billion in executed transaction volume.

Previous to GID, Mr. Conopka held capital markets positions at two development firms and an overseas investment advisor placing equity in U.S. multifamily assets.

Mr. Conopka graduated magna cum laude from Babson College and is a member of Real Estate Investment Advisor Council.
