Olajide Abiola, FSM has held a variety of roles in the past 19 years. From 2001 to 2008, they served as an Administrative Assistant & Field Soldier for the Nigerian Army. During this time, they maintained supply inventory, dispatched and received mail, and participated in emergency operations. From 2008 to 2011, they served as a Legislative Aide for the 7th Senate of the National Assembly Nigeria. During this time, they honed their research and legislative skills and acquired policy making knowledge. From 2011 to 2015, they worked as a Regional Manager for ConSol Limited, developing sales pipelines and managing business development, office management, and government relations. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Co-Founder and Director at KiaKia.co, a digital lending space. Their most recent role was as Co-founder and CEO of Gidanka, a hospitality company that leverages technology and design innovation to create living spaces.

Olajide Abiola, FSM has an extensive educational history. Olajide holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Ilorin, an Army Certificate of Education, Map Reading & W.A.E.C from the Nigeria Military School, a Certificate of Completion in Negotiation from the University of Michigan, and a Certificate in Budgeting and Scheduling Projects from UC Irvine. Olajide also holds three additional certifications: a Successful Negotiation: Essential Strategies and Skills from Coursera Verified Certificates obtained in August 2015, a Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional (MCITP) from Microsoft obtained in September 2008, and a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) from Microsoft obtained in September 2008.
