Nursel Yuecel

Nursel Yuecel has extensive work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Nursel is currently the Head of Global Service Operations at Giesecke+Devrient, where they are responsible for the overall operation of production systems and continuity of services. Prior to this, they worked at Amadeus for several years, first as a Support Engineer in application management for e-commerce, where they automated manual processes and optimized application farms. Nursel then became a Team Lead, first in Change Management Automation, where they managed a team of developers and aligned their efforts with company priorities, and later in Monitoring and logging event management, where they led a distributed DevOps team developing a cloud native application for event analysis and correlation. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Operations Analyst, Internal Systems Programmer, and System Operator, gaining experience in batch and data distribution, office automation, and MVS & FQT operations.

Nursel Yuecel earned a Certified IT Specialist degree from IHK Munih in the field of study specializing in System Integration from the years 2000 to 2003. Nursel also obtained various certifications from LinkedIn and other institutions in areas such as Managing Experienced Managers, Managing Generation Z, Operations Management Foundations, and others. Additionally, they have a Microsoft certification in Azure Fundamentals.
