Jim Darenkamp (MSPM, MSIM)

Jim Darenkamp has over 37 years of experience working as a Military Enlisted & Officer in the US Navy. Jim retired from the position of Project Manager in the US Navy in 2018. After that, they worked as a Senior Project Manager at Compqsoft Inc-CSRA for a short duration. Jim was also the Director Communications and Information Systems at COMTHIRDFLT. Later, they worked at COLSA Corporation as a Communications and Network Planning Engineer and played a vital role in upgrading the entire infrastructure of Elgin Airforce Base. Recently, they have been associated with Giesler LLC, a Woman-owned Small Business Defense Contractor, as its Chief Financial Officer and Chief Technology Officer/Solutions Architect. At Giesler, they work with an exceptional team of Information Warfare professionals. Additionally, they have experience as an Interim Music Director at Calvary Baptist Church of Allentown and as a Praise and Worship Guitar Player and Team Member at Milton First Assembly Of God Church. Jim has also completed numerous RV trips and a European River Cruise during their time off. Jim is currently working as an Advanced Battle Management SME at Oasis Systems LLC, where they are responsible for developing test requirements and providing strategic test guidance for complex test projects.

Jim Darenkamp holds a HS diploma from Mount Healthy High School obtained from a College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program in 1978 and a BAS in Electronics Management from Troy University. Jim also completed their MS in Information Systems Management and Project Management from Grantham University. In addition, they completed a Joint Professional Military Education Phase I in 2010 from Air Warfare College. Jim also attended the Transition Assistance Seminar in 2015, and completed a PMP (PMBOK 6) Course of Instruction certificate from Syracuse University in 2018. Jim is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration in Information Security Management-Data Security from the University of West Florida and a Diploma of Education in Divinity/Ministry from Rhema Correspondence Bible School. Additionally, they hold a Joint Interface Control Officer certification from Joint Interoperability & Data Link Training Center.
