Rachel DiStefano is currently employed as a Population Health Manager at Gifford since December 2022, having previously held the position of Accreditation Program Manager at BlueCross BlueShield of Vermont from September 2021 to December 2022. Rachel's extensive experience at Gifford includes roles as Quality Program Manager and Quality Management Specialist from August 2016 to September 2021. Rachel also served as a Health Policy Fellow at The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy & Clinical Practice from July 2014 to August 2016 and as a Graduate Teaching/Research Assistant at the University of Vermont from August 2012 to June 2014. Earlier professional experience includes an editorial internship at EatingWell Media Group and serving as Nutrition Coordinator at Bates College. Rachel possesses a Master of Science in Food Systems from the University of Vermont and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Bates College. Rachel is currently pursuing a Doctor of Public Health degree at The Johns Hopkins University.
