Mary Yatrousis

Mary Yatrousis is a seasoned communications professional currently serving as the National Press Secretary for Giffords since April 2022. Previously, Mary held the position of Communications Director for Congressman John Larson from January 2016 to April 2022, where responsibilities included leading the communications team, managing media engagement, and overseeing messaging development. Mary has extensive experience in media relations, having written and pitched op-eds that appeared in major publications and served as a spokesperson for both the congressman and their campaign efforts. Prior roles include talent acquisition at GiantIvy and Silverbull, along with a variety of positions in political communications and campaign management. Mary holds a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Boston University and attended the Women's Campaign School at Yale in 2018.
