Victoria Stevenson is the current Chief Monetization Officer at Giftloop. Victoria has also served on the board of Open Government Institute for 8 years and 9 months. Prior to their current position, they were a Product Manager at Mode Mobile for 2 years and 1 month. In this role, they were responsible for developing and growing the programmatic business, leading the strategy development for roadmap to maximize programmatic advertising revenue, and developing and managing vendor/partner relationships, reviews & recommendations.
Before their time at Mode Mobile, Victoria was the Open Spending Community lead at Open Knowledge International for 11 months. In this role, they coordinated pilot partner projects with government finance institutions from Mexico, Uruguay, Guatemala, Croatia, and ensured the successful delivery of three civil society organization projects in Malaysia, Macedonia, and Cameroon. Victoria also collaborated with partner governments and civil society organizations to ensure that the data collected were able to be cleaned, standardized and uploaded to OpenSpending. Additionally, they conducted OpenSpending training/upload sessions with partners from 20+ countries, did budget and spending data analysis and uploads, wrote website and project documentation, and conducted research as needed.
Victoria’s previous experience also includes working as an Economist at Expert-Grup for 4 years and 4 months, and as a Research Assistant at the Institute of World Politics for 5 months.
Victoria Stevenson attended Georgetown University for a Capital Semester Program in Public Policy from 2011-2012. Victoria then attended Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in World Economics and International Economic Relations in 2011. Victoria was the 4th out of 139 graduates. Victoria also attended Univerzita Karlova v Praze for an Undergraduate Credit in American Institute on Political and Economic Systems from 2010-2010. And finally, they attended Riverland College and graduated with a Bachelor's in Economics in 2010. While attending Riverland College, they were involved in Amnesty International, International Student Club, Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society, Rotaract, and American Association of University Women.
