In a global startup company like ours, we need you to have so much passion for the things we are building. We love professional people, but we need more agreement on our vision to push the company forward. If you've ever worked with a team of top-notch people, you know how good it feels. There is comradery, everyone jokes around, and it's awesome. We've found that to make sure we are bringing in the right guys for our team. It's best to ask all applicants to follow our interview process below. We will send this to you after we get your application. The best candidates find this process enjoyable. They also appreciate the vetting process. If we didn't do this, we'd risk sending our guys into battle with noobs (which is bad enough in Call of Duty and worse in real life).
At Giftpack, we designed a 30-day interview batch running every month. You will have fun with other candidates and our team while enjoying the interviews.
Phase 1 - Resume Review
We’re truly inspired by the talented people who find their way to us, and we know that it took a lot of time and effort on your part. We usually spend 3 to 6 days reviewing your first file application to provide fair competition. Whether we push it forward, we will inform you by email.
Phase 2 - Interest Talks with Founders
As a startup company, the reasons why you want to join us are always more important than your ability. So we will start with a 30 mins talk about your background, past experiences, understanding of our product and vision, and some basic professional tests. It usually takes three days for us to answer.
Phase 3 - Professional Screening
Once we match your personality, we will move on to the session to check your professional abilities. We will make sure that you have a deeper understanding of your fields better than we do. The scope of this part varies by position. No correct answer and no history to follow. It usually takes seven days for us to make the decision at this phase.
Phase 4 - Team Talk & Coffee Hours
From here, we will try to understand how you fit with the current team members. We will set up brunches for you, other candidates, and our team members together in the same batch. Casual talks in combination with their own screening standard will be applied. You will need to submit a report talking about our team. It takes seven days for us to give you the answer.
Phase 5 - HR Interview & Packages
Now it’s time for you to fight for your package and salary. We love talented people, and we know you deserve the matched benefits. Be brave on us and think more about the future. A startup always has uncertainty, good or bad.
