Jenise S. has a long history of work experience. Jenise began their career in 2005 as a student at SDA Bocconi School of Management, where they earned their Master's in Public Management. In 2006, they became a Project Manager at the Alexandra Renewal Project. In 2007, they took on the role of Director of Advancement, Programs & Administration at Giving Children Hope. From 2010-2016, they worked at TOMS in various roles, including Global Giving Manager, Senior Giving Account Manager, and Giving Account Manager. In 2014, they became the Principal at Cause Brand Consulting. From 2014-2017, they were a Venture Mentor at LDR Ventures. In 2016, they became Vice President of Impact Strategy & Partnerships at Pledgeling. In 2017, they took on the role of Chief Impact Officer/Operations at Gifts for Good. Finally, in 2020, they became a 2021 Business Fellow at Praxis.

Jenise S. holds a Master's in Public Management from SDA Bocconi and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sociology, Business & Economics, and Social Science from Westmont College. Jenise also has a number of certifications, including Six Sigma Green Belt from Lean Sigma Corporation (obtained in April 2016), Financial Modeling for the Social Sector, Fundraising: How to Connect with Donors, Leadership: Ten Rules for Impact and Meaning, Essentials of Nonprofit Strategy, Global Social Entrepreneurship, How to Scale Social Impact, Organizational Capacity: Assessment to Action, and Human Resources Development from UC Santa Barbara (obtained in June 2000).
