Basant Essam is a professional with a diverse background in the insurance and sales sectors. Currently serving as a Bancassurance Insurance Planner at GIG Egypt Life Takaful since January 2024 and as a Member of the Board of Directors at the Egyptian Youth Hostels Association since October 2023, Bassant has previously held positions including Protection Consultant at AXA and Bancassurance Representative at Allianz. Early career experiences include a role as a Junior Sales Executive at Emerging Media UK and a Translator trainee at Algomhuria newspaper. Bassant holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Ain Shams University, completed in 2015, and a high school degree from Alsun Language School.
