Ahmed Sayed Marhamat Jahromi

Ahmed Sayed Marhamat Jahromi is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the insurance sector. Currently serving as the Director of Commercial Lines at GIG Gulf since November 2021, Ahmed leads strategic initiatives across business development, underwriting, risk engineering, reinsurance, and claims. Alongside this role, Ahmed is a Board Member at the Bahrain Insurance Association, promoting collaboration within the insurance industry. Prior to these positions, Ahmed spent over 15 years at AXA Insurance Gulf, culminating in the role of Director - P&C Commercial Lines and Assistant General Manager, where strategic growth and operational planning were key responsibilities. Earlier experience includes managing AXA Cooperative Insurance Company's retail operations startup. Ahmed holds an MBA from DePaul University and an Associate's Degree from the Life Office Management Association.
