Mario Andres Gutierrez

Mario Andres Gutierrez, Msc, currently serves as the Vice President of Business Development at Giga Energy and as an Associate on the Advisory Council at The Kay Bailey Hutchison Energy Center, both starting in January 2024. Gutierrez is also a Managing Partner at Vibe Energy Systems since May 2021, focusing on integrating the oil and gas industry into the digital economy. Previous experience includes roles such as Associate in Corporate Strategy at AEXA Digital Infrastructure, Venture Fellow at Congress Avenue Ventures, and Associate in Client Solutions at Unchained Capital. Gutierrez began a career in the geosciences as a Geoscientist at ExxonMobil and has a strong academic foundation with a Master’s Degree in Geosciences from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Geology & Geophysics from The Ohio State University, supplemented by a geological field mapping course.
