Col Waqar Haider

Col Waqar Haider, Retd, has extensive leadership experience spanning several sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Customer Care & Recovery Department and Head of Security and Project Safety Department at Giga Group of Companies since May 2019, Col Waqar Haider also acts as an Advisor to the Chairman. Additionally, as a Marine Insurance Agency Holder at Askari General Insurance Company Limited since August 2018, professional responsibilities continue to expand. Prior to these roles, Col Waqar Haider worked as an Executive in Security from March 2006 to July 2018 and served in the Pakistan Army from November 1978 to October 2005, focusing on military, military police, and military intelligence. Col Waqar Haider’s education includes training at the Pakistan Military Academy.
