Jip Rietveld

Jip Rietveld has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career.

In 2013, they started working as an Assistant Instructor at Hawley Lake Sail Training Centre, where they served until 2017.

In 2017, they joined PWS TU Delft as a Student Assistant, answering questions on the forum and maintaining the website until September 2021.

In 2018, they worked as a Teacher, teaching Computer Science at Rotterdam International Secondary School until January 2019.

Currently, since 2020, Jip is working as a Technology Specialist at GIGA Storage. In this role, they use their expertise in weather data and machine learning to improve the IT platform for efficient battery control. Jip collaborates closely with Jeroen Buis on finalizing and continuously enhancing the IT platform.

Jip Rietveld obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Delft University of Technology, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. Following this, Jip pursued a Master's degree in Data Science and Technology at the same university from 2019 to 2022.
